Maynes Coaches employee over 80 employees and have a fleet of around 45 vehicles, with regular fleet investments every year. All our drivers are highly trained professionals and have experience in all types of private hire, conference, and tour work. Many of our drivers have been with our company for up to 20 years and we are proud of the many requests and compliments we receive for them. Our driving team is supported 24/7 by our operations team to ensure that your safety and enjoyment is first and foremost. Every one of our drivers goes through a tough selection procedure to ensure that we employ those with experience and professionalism, we choose drivers with the right personality that ensures that our customers receive the kind of care and attention to detail they deserve.
All our driving team goes through a stringent in-house training plan, undergoing approximately 17 hours training per year from basic safety procedures to defensive and interactive driving tests. All our drivers are provided with a full company uniform, and we check our driver’s history by undertaking a full disclosure check as well as having a driver’s licence checked by the DVLA every 3 months ensuring they have the full licence entitlement for the type of vehicle they are likely to drive.

The training of our drivers is meticulously planned to ensure the courses that each driver receives will make them fully competent, professional members of the industry, as training schedules are tailored to drivers’ individual needs. This can be further planned to fast track individual drivers to gain further knowledge and greater understanding of not only the expectations of the company, but our clients and the legal industry bodies as well. These courses provide our drivers with an insight into many unseen aspects of the coach industry, allowing us to consistently deliver an un-wavering standard of passenger satisfaction and safety.
