CoachMarque approved Alpine Travel has today announced that it has received a TripAdvisor® Certificate of Excellence. Now in its eighth year, the achievement celebrates businesses that have earned great traveller reviews on TripAdvisor over the past year. Certificate of Excellence recipients include attractions, restaurants and accommodations located all over the world that have continually delivered a quality customer experience.
“We are absolutely delighted to have our Great Orme Tour recognised by TripAdvisor®”, commented Chris Owens, Managing Director, Alpine. “Having operated our small fleet of vintage coaches as the guided Great Orme Tour for over 15 years, the four mile scenic drive takes our guests around the Great Orme through the brilliant flora and fauna of the summertime to the crashing waves below on a stormy winter’s day. And by travelling on the vintage coach guests witness the Great Orme from an elevated position and observe the wonderful natural assest from a comfortable seat”.
“TripAdvisor is excited to announce the recipients of the 2018 Certificate of Excellence, which celebrates experiences and other travel businesses that have consistently received strong praise and ratings on the world’s largest travel site,” said Heather Leisman, Vice President of Industry Marketing, TripAdvisor. “This recognition allows us to publicly honour businesses that are actively engaging with customers and using feedback to help travellers identify and confidently book the perfect trip.”
The Certificate of Excellence accounts for the quality, quantity and recency of reviews submitted by travellers on TripAdvisor over a 12-month period. To qualify, a business must maintain an overall TripAdvisor bubble rating of at least four out of five, have a minimum number of reviews and must have been listed on TripAdvisor for at least 12 months.
With over 45 years’ experience, Alpine Travel is the largest independently owned coach tour operator in North Wales, with a fleet of over 80 vehicles and 100+ employees.
